My concern is the track – that’s the only concern I have
唯一の心配な点はコースやねん。
If he handles the track conditions he will run very well
もし中京のダートをこなせるようなら、結果は出せるはず。
A lot of factors are still unknown to us
馬場もそやけど、他にも沢山未知な部分はあるやな。
The surface here is totally different. It’s very heavy out there
本国のオールウェザーと日本のダートは全然ちゃう。本当に重い馬場。
ーyou never know, he’s such an adaptable horse and he loves a dirt surface,
ガンピットは対応力があるしダートは得意。
but is this going to be too much for him to handle? We’re hoping not and we have to come and try it.
I have the utmost respect for the Japanese horses – there are a couple of superstars in the race but this is a very good horse.

He’s comfortable on that surface going at the speed he’s been going at in his trackwork, that’s not a problem.
